  • Chartered Accountant requires an education of complete CA Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum 5 years of experience in related field in a well reputed manufacturing firm
  • Must have complete command of accounting such that he/she can prepare the company’s final accounts
  • Good knowledge of Auditing, Forecasting, Reconciling, TDS, Tax, Legal knowledge, working knowledge of VAT
  • Strong knowledge and grasp of accounting software such as SAP, Excel etc. Must know how to work with logic statements and to create and use pivot tables
  • Requires good communication skills, strong analytical & strategic thinking

Job Description

  • Must ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting, and update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
  • Prepare financial reports on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, and as needed
  • Keeping account books and systems up to date
  • Advising company on Taxation and preparing tax returns
  • Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations. Must assist in preparations of all accounting entries and drafting of compliance calendars, preparation of workings and filing of returns of VAT, Excise, TDS, and Advance Tax
  • Responsible for accounting & Finance department functionality with respect to internal auditing, reporting & reconciliation
  • Budgeting and planning for company targets and projects
  • Financial forecasting activities, payback period and I.R.R calculations
  • Monitoring budgets and spending patterns to ensure compliance with policy. Responsible for implementation of cost control across divisions
  • Provide advice to management, especially on how to reduce costs and increase profits
  • Advising, compiling and presenting financial and budgets reports
  • Develop SOPs and recommending systems and processes for accounting department, tracked using KPI’s
  • Execute tasks to comply with local tax laws
  • Record financial transactions, complete financial accounting and forecasting, and deliver reports and metrics to leadership
  • Perform banking operations and prepare payment instruments or instructions
  • Maintain key accounts such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets etc.
  • Lead financial meetings
  • Work closely with company in researching, planning and executing projects
  • Preparation of forecasts, tracking reports, reconciliations, audits of planned and ongoing projects
  • Work closely with Project  Director to provide vision and strategic guidance on company’s goals;
  • Work closely with management to ensure successful day-to-day management and collaboration of project activities
  • For each individual project: develop, implement, and maintain a project management system, including setting up projects (jobs), budgets, job costs, cost codes, contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and various progress reports
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliations of Project/Program funds
  • Maintain familiarity with contracted agreement requirements and monitor compliance, deliverables, and deadlines – providing timely updates as needed
  • Develop and monitor work plans, ensuring deliverables are being met; support staff in adhering to plans
  • Assist in oversight of project budget, ensuring budget discipline
  • Manage effective monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of project activities
  • Responsible for maintaining high level of employee morale, competence, a favorable working environment and creating opportunities for personnel development within the department
  • Maintain corporate culture, discipline and effective communication within department and throughout the organization
  • Reduces the operation cost and increases productivity in the department
  • Any other duties, responsibilities and authorities as assigned by ED and GM
