Youth Creation for fullness of Life (Youth Creations) is a non-profit making, non-governmental, non-political; A Youth led social development organization of Sunsari district. It was established in 2065 BS with the core objective of vulnerable and marginalized people especially women, children, youth and people living with marginalized condition are empowerment and participated in decision process about the issue affecting their livelihood. It had good experience in the sector of early child development. It has successfully implemented Youth development, Livelihood, Child Rights, WASH, Education, MCHN, Medpa and DRR projects in Sunsari and Udaypur districts. We are looking for a dynamic, Visionary and Leadership qualitative candidates for project of Lead and decide, Sponsorship, Care(Early Child development Project) which will be carried out in partnership with Plan international Nepal for the following position

Education Level : Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/Ib)
Experience Required : More than or equal to 2 years
Professional Skill Required : Healthcare Early Childhood Development Communication Facilitation
Other Specification
    • PCL level or +2 passed
    • At least 2 years’ experience in community mobilization in early childhood Development program or similar experiences in other relevant program as a social mobilize
    • He/she should be from local community and Priority will be given for female, excluded and from Dalit and Janjati of local community
    • Good knowledge in Early childhood Development or Health related program (Free Health services etc) or community based program.
    • Good Communication, Facilitation skills in local languages and Nepali
    • Coordination skills, writing and reporting skill is key skill for this position.  Data base reporting is essential requirement for the position 
    • Two wheeler driving and Basic Computer skill (Word, excel, power point, Internet email and database management) will be asset

    Job Description

    • Support to planning and coordination of community level activities with Project coordinator/Project officer
    • Conduct regular Parenting Education sessions and dialogue sessions in assigned areas
    • Monitor, support and coach community facilitators for regular conduction of dialogue sessions
    • Monitor and coach FCHVs during PE sessions
    • Support to organize village level meeting /ECD steering committee meeting on monthly basis /quarterly basis
    • Organize training and dialog sessions at community level activities
    • Prepare and submit successful case study in each month or on quarterly basis
    • Support and facilitate in formation of G-TEC action group at community level
    • Support to organize Training on Community led campaigns
    • Organize community level mass meetings on ECD and parenting education
    • Collection of monthly data of field level intervention and submit to Project coordinator /officer on monthly and quarterly basis
    • Maintain good rapport with Rural Municipality/Municipality and other stakeholders involved in dialog sessions, campaigns and interaction
    • Home visit of at risk family for assessing of positive behaviour changes and imparting knowledge and skills on Early Childhood Development
    • Regular field visits, follow up and attends field level meetings to understand and facilitate problem solving to have effective implementations
    • All the works to be supervise under the guidance and policy of  YC and Plan International Nepal
    • Attend meetings, workshop, trainings, and interaction program organized by Plan International Nepal, Youth Creation for Fullness of Life and other like minded organization as well
