Job Description

Plan and oversee new business and marketing initiatives.
Lead full BD deal lifecycle end-to-end, including strategy/planning, outreach, pitching & selling, terms negotiation, contract drafting, launch planning, and execution
Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
Contact potential suppliers/vendors to establish a business relationship and meet with them
Develop new sales areas and improving sales through various methods
Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business
Increase sales of the business
Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
Plan and execute promotional strategies
Collaborate with other departments including engineering and Customer Service to ensure business requirements are met
Understand the needs of your customers and suppliers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
Plan and execute business and market studies and collaborate with teams to achieve the goals
Think strategically - see the bigger picture and set aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
Have an in depth knowledge of competition and ability to influence the market
Plan, monitor progress of the tasks/projects under execution and mitigate any risks to prevent from slipping deadline
Motivate team members to deliver results within deadline
Train personnel and help team members develop their skills
