Established in 2017 under the Companies Act 2063 with a paid up capital of 60 Million NRS, Pay Nep Pvt. Ltd. is a digital payment service provider (PSP) which provides mobile based, web based and iOS based payment services, in collaboration with the various banks and financial institutions, merchants , microfinance etc.

As a Payment service provider (PSP), Pay Nep will offer shops online and over the counter services for accepting electronic payments by a variety of payment methods including mobile wallet, and bank-based payments such as direct debit, bank transfer, cards, and real-time bank transfer based on online banking using a software as a service model and form a single payment gateway for their clients (merchants) to multiple payment methods. Pay Nep will also provide platform for sellers and buyers to come together online through Kinmel, and  delivery of goods as well. Pay Nep will further provide a hassle free salary disbursement mechanism. All the services of Pay Nep will be available through its flagship, MORU digital wallet.  It will operate under “MORU” brand name for commercial purpose.

“Moru” is the combination of two acronyms “MO" and “RU”, representing Mobile Rupee(Digital Currency) when used together.

Job Description

  • Visiting and dealing with merchants/ partner organizations/banks.
  • Ensuring translation of requirements and according product enhancement.
  • Giving presentations/ reports regarding new/existing products and /or marketing strategies.
  • Continuous market research for latest market trends for developing new product, marketing and branding strategies, and leading development of creative new products based on market analysis.
  • Carryout task associated with sales, Marketing, Product and Maintaining Relationships.
  • Give business leadership for the achievement of its vision, mission and strategy, within its philosophy.
  • Program/planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting, as and when required, including making operational all business plans approved by the board of directors.
  • Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives, that appeal to the needs of the business sector, general public.
  • Lead, motivate and manage subordinates to advance employee engagement developing a high performing team.
  • Present or submit timely report on the activities of the company, including completed targets, situation of the KPIs, uncompleted targets and reasons for not completing the set goals.
  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
  • Promote image of the company.
  • Build trust relations with administrators, key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders.
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company.
  • Develop proposals, business plans, strategy documents and products papers.
  • Implement Integrations and add business with other institutions, merchants and merchant groups with utmost timelines.
  • Directing and managing projects around new software development, integrations with respect to development/ testing, planning, executing and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines.
  • Undertake all the necessary day to day tasks related to the business of the company.
  • Set the estimated budget and business plan of the company, and to present / explain on the same if required.
  • Represent the company before third parties, administrators, regulatory authority and other industry participants.
  • Mentoring other Business Developing Officer’s, and Interns.
  • Working closely with business leads to understand product use cases, customer journeys, business applicability and impact of each use case and implement it.
  • Understand different technology platforms, their features and be able to work with solution architects/engineering leads and write detailed product requirement documents, manage future roadmaps and deliverables.
  • Make sure that clear, simple, and technically sound decisions are made.
  • Learn & Implement different technology platforms in your vertical or in the company, we expect you to raise your hand when either any wrong design decision is being made or if similar function exists in other systems that could be reused.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders / senior management / cross-functional teams to influence them for quicker decisions, manage sudden technical roadblocks and be able to clear them.
  • Lead product team processes (Agile/Scrum) and manage expectations and track roadmap regularly
  • Be involved in what your team is building – Run edge cases, test products proactively and its features to provide feedback early in the cycle, make sure entire journeys are covered, and that product reporting exists to track KPIs for the product and its success (data-driven product management).
  • Abide at all times by the internal policies, rules and regulations, brought to force by the board of directors/ CEO.
  • Perform any other duties with discretion and/or directions of CEO.
