The Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for developing marketing and growth strategy, promoting software products/services and forging strong relationships with clients. He/She is also responsible to provide support for software products/services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, accounting or related field
  • Prior experience as a business development officer, marketing executive or in a similar role
  • Great communication, negotiation and leadership skills
  • Able to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Understanding of information technology and Capital Market is a huge plus
  • Solid documentation skills
  • The ability to travel to meet clients and research new markets as needed


Job Description

  • Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with executives to achieve revenue goals
  • Develop business proposal/presentation to new and existing client of our products/services and follow up with them in order to close the business deals
  • Assist in company’s branding and communication activities such as advertisements, marketing, social sites and website
  • Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities
  • Manage customer calls and appointments effectively for new opportunities
  • Develop creative strategies to retain the clients including interviewing them to take their feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan
  • Report bugs and periodically review software support log(s)
  • Ensure support issues and resolutions are adequately documented
  • Educate customers on problem resolution in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner
  • Prepare regular progress report
