Job Description

Reporting to: General Manager

Job Purpose:

To proactively generate and strengthen leads, establish strong relationships with potential e clients, and drive revenue growth by securing partnerships through targeted outbound sales efforts for Big Mart’s Sales Team. The role requires proactive engagement through cold calls, emails, and follow-up communications to secure partnerships with small businesses, corporate clients, and institutions.

Key Result Areas:

  • Identify and research potential small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and institutional clients.
  • Conduct cold calls and send personalized outreach emails to prospective clients.
  • Deliver sales presentations on grocery retail products and services and follow up with potential clients to maintain interest and convert them into customers.
  • Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with B2B clients, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms, close deals, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new business clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, category management, retail area management, and customer service to align sales strategies with client needs.
  • Track sales activities and performance, generate reports, and analyze metrics to improve outreach efforts and conversion rates.
