Job Description

We are looking to announce a job vacancy for the position of Business Development Officer at our Pokhara Regional Office, located in Gandaki Province.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying & introducing overall marketing opportunities, analytical research, market innovation and suggesting management for the procurement/sourcing accordingly.
  • Should act as the data bank for Agriculture, cooperative, and market potential related information’s of Nepal.
  • Market research for different Agri inputs & Agri-produce based on the market & seasonal requirements.
  • To develop business proposal related to bank loan and plans for potential business initiatives, the company plans.
  • All the planning-related activities for FMCG business focusing on sourcing.
  • Responsible for the introduction of new technical and business opportunities for company, including business incubation.
  • To find out the marketing opportunity in different government & other institutional tenders.
  • Will be liable to coordinate for promotion of MKCL activities through different social media.
  • To develop & apply different market promotional skills & tools.
  • To provide content and mock-up for market promotion in coordination with assigned designer.
  • Event management during participation in different Agri-events & trade fairs.
  • To ensure all technical content prepared for market promotions are correct.
  • Formulate and maintain business ethics on all associated level.
  • Effectively conduct field visit and monitoring for business development.
  • Developing training manuals and promotional materials related to product promotion & marketing.
  • Support with other components and departments of MKCL.
  • Respond and communicate with company clients about the company services in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Maintain and enhance the working environment with all staff community.
  • Maintain the company and process SOP’s at all levels.
  • Other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
