Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Officer at Shangrila International Freight Pvt. Ltd located in Kathmandu. The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing and implementing strategies to drive the company's growth. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions for clients and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Proven experience in business development or sales in Freight Forwarding, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additional language (Chinese, Japanese, or Danish would be of an additional value)
Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities
Ability to analyze market trends and identify new opportunities
Knowledge of logistics and freight forwarding industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
