Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Officer based in Kathmandu, East & West Nepal. The BD Officer will be responsible for business expansion in their assigned territories.

Essential Duties (But not limited to):

  • Conduct market research to generate leads of potential clients/customers
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and site visit
  • Achieve company-wide targeted sales objectives and sales targets in line with the company goals
  • Provide information to potential clients through direct communication in face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, and emails
  • Represent the company in various events and exhibitions.
  • Aggressively building networks with influential professionals.
  • Accompany potential buyers during visits to project sites.
  • Assist company manufacturer in the sales of bricks and preparation of progress reports to the Supervisor
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Key Skills & Competencies.

  • Management graduate from a recognized university.
  • Min. 3-5 years of full-fledged business development role.
  • Prior working experience with the Brick / Construction industry is preferable 
  • Candidate having a construction industry clientele base would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation, convincing, and persuasion skills are desirable.
  • Willing to travel and work flexible hours, should possess own two-wheelers.
