Job Description

Business Development

Identify prospective consulting opportunities for the organization, i.e. Engineering and Management of DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS.
Identify, correspond/communicate, and tie up with potential international/domestic partner firms for various consulting projects in the assigned sectors e.g. Hydropower, Irrigation, Transportation, and Water Supply.
Make regular visits to clients to gather information on the progress of projects/opportunities and build good relationships with them.
Study project documents and other relevant documents and be aware of the scope of projects and consulting opportunities·
Identify the best international/domestic firm(s) for the projects – Interact, identify, and tie up with a firm (s) who have relevant consulting experience, strong human resources relevant to the project, strong financial resources, and firm(s) who are serious.
Accompany and liaise with international principals to clients and related organizations during their visit.
Identify the best local resource personnel(s) for the projects - To interact, identify, and tie up with the best resource personnel, mostly local, to be proposed through TMS for the projects.
Build good rapport with resource consultants and national and international perspective partner firms.
Prepare EOIs and Proposals. This includes coordinating with partners and experts, document compilations, improving CVs, PDS, etc., and assist in the preparation of Approaches and Methodologies, Work Plans, and Staffing Schedules.
Prepare financial proposals including negotiating monthly rates with proposed experts.
Participate in contract negotiation with the client.
Feed the Database Administrator with all the information throughout the business development process for its proper record.
Identify areas/concepts with experts/partner firm(s) / Clients for Conceiving Projects and new business opportunities.
