It pioneered the concept of royalty payments to artists and creators of music by paying a fixed percentage of sales revenue of their albums. This encouraged creation and helped in the exponential growth of the industry. The growth was driven especially by the popularity of Dohori and Folk Songs of different parts of the country. Music Nepal also played a catalytic role in developing Copyright Law and over the years has joined hands with numerous stake holders to strengthen the copyright regime in the country.

Job Description

We are looking to employ a driven, committed and efficient business development officer to identify business growth opportunities and develop strategies. The business development officer's responsibilities is to identifying organization services that underperforming, developing an in-depth knowledge of organization pricing and polices that ensure to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities of Business Development

Contribute to development of business plans, work and communicate with concern parties of organization.
Develop business proposals for clients to improve their business utilizing company services.
Develop creative strategies to retain the clients including interviewing them to take their feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan.
Candidates must have effective documentation & reporting skills of the daily activities that are easily understood by others.
Working with executives to implement digital marketing strategies and new opportunities.
Identify new market opportunities through market research and initiate contact.
Involve in the quarterly planning process for the development and growth of the organization.
Identify opportunities for thought leadership and other marketing and campaign ideas.
Maintain proper relation with the vendors for smooth and long term partnership.
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients.
Promote the organization services addressing client's objectives.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
