The journey started 11 years ago in 2009 from a manufacturing company. After gaining experience for more than 10 years in distributorship, retail and wholesale market in Nepal, we came up with an idea of Saathimart; a retail and online business idea. Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Business Development cum Retail Sales Officer for our new start-up in the food manufacturing sector. We are in a search of a candidate who is ready to take up the challenging job as our retail sales officer and help us in our journey to build the firm from scratch. The candidate should be positive and a good negotiator who knows how to influence the customer by implementing genuine diplomacy. Below are some of the key points we specifically expecting from an aspirant for this opportunity.

  • To be able to explain to the owners/purchase manager of mom and pop shops (local general/retail stores) about our products, features, USP, margins, reward system, delivery, and payment conditions, etc.
  • Capable in visiting the retail shops within the designated area regularly and maintain the association with the shop owners by solving their queries/concerns and promoting the products etc.
  • Collection of payment in advance and post-credit-period via different mediums online/offline payment modes.
  • Maintain the stock and SKUs number to sustain the sales within the assigned territory or retail range.
  • Report any dispute or concern to management with a solution.
  • To be an instrumental part of the sales and develop the market for the new product & be able to carry field marketing initiatives and other programs decided by the management.
  • Should be able to bring orders and maintain the distribution with the help of the delivery team and logistics.
  • To be able to acquire new customers and maintain accurate records of delivery challans, payment vouchers, tax invoices exchange, etc.
  • Should be able to participate in the food forums, fairs, or summits along with the management both in India and international locations as in when necessitated.
  • Assist and suggest management for sales strategies and growth.
