Job Purpose:
Work with producer groups, and build their capacity so that they can have access to lucrative and sustainable markets; facilitate SWOR analysis of producer group; and facilitate producer group meeting and ensure effective implementation. Also work with saving groups to encourage saving of the community people and waste collectors/pickers to encourage waste management and income generation.
Major Responsibilities
- Support in identifying trades and business opportunities for vulnerable families, identifying service provides for building necessary technical skills, linking them to jobs and services
- Identify ongoing small-scale businesses in the working areas by the vulnerable groups and identify potential for scaling them through value chain approach. Support in business development plan for vulnerable individuals or groups
- Provide technical support in implementation of the Ultra Poor Graduation Project Model in working district
- Support (providing local information as required) to conduct vocational skills training to the youth entrepreneur/ business operating individuals as per CTEVT standard and assure appropriate vocational skill training providing institute to conduct the skill training in the area
- Assess the need of target people and support entrepreneurs to organize and facilitate business skill/SIYB
- Meet entrepreneurs groups/skill trainees regularly and keep the progress for each group/individuals
- Collect information to produce monthly report on enterprise and entrepreneur progress
- Compile savings group information to feed into savings groups’ database and report to project coordinator in regular basis
- Focus MVF/RC families’ participation and evidence based result to support sponsorship program
- Coordination and liaison with local government and bear all the responsibilities of project area
