We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager / Senior Level Counsellor. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and providing expert guidance to students seeking education opportunities abroad. Your primary focus will be on developing strategic partnerships, expanding the client base, and providing comprehensive counselling services to students and their families.
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the field of education consultancy, specifically in the area of abroad study agencies.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to expand the company's reach and revenue streams.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including universities, colleges, educational institutions, and other relevant partners.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitive intelligence, and adjust business strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Client Acquisition and Management:
- Interact and follow up with potential clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored counselling services related to studying abroad.
- Guide students and their families through the entire admission process, including university selection, application assistance, visa requirements, and pre-departure preparations.
- Stay updated on the latest educational programs, courses, scholarships, and immigration regulations of various countries.
- Should be able to maintain effective communication with clients; respond professionally, accurately and in a timely manner to client enquiries regarding their application; follow up with clients to maximize conversion and achieve the agreed KPIs.
Team Leadership and Training:
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior counsellors and support staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to improve individual and team performance.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, global education trends, and professional development opportunities.
- Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance the knowledge and skills of the counselling team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Education Counsellor / Manager/Assistant Manager in Education consultancy.
- Proven experience in business development and client acquisition, preferably in the education consultancy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of international education systems, admission procedures, visa regulations, and scholarship opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Prefer to have TITI Certificate or QEAC
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Offered Salary: Negotiable + Performance based incentive
