Job Description

AITC International is actively seeking for a Business Development Manager with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organization, and enhanced multitasking abilities. B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspects of the position, along with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals. The ideal candidate has experience researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methods to develop our business strategy while retaining marketing partners.

  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers and also seek out the appropriate contact in an organization.
  • Maintain relationships with customers/clients and also meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
  • Draw up client contracts - depending on the size of the company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formal.
  • Collaborate with design and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met.
  • Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate.
  • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.
  • Liaise with the finance team, warehousing, and logistics departments as appropriate.
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate, and seek ways of improving the way the business operates.
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors.
