Job Description

  • Contacting potential vendors to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Increasing the value of current vendors/customers while attracting new ones
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
  • Maintain / Update the database of vendors, clients, and competitors
  • Professionally represent the organization at project-specific events/ meetings
  • Assist and coordinate in the preparation of expression of interest/concept notes and Proposals to vendors
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met
  • Support and contribute to the development of effective processes, standards, templates, tools, and systems that support business development
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills

Purpose of Job:

The post holder will work closely with the CEO, of Nepal to contribute to the achievement of the country's strategy and business plan. The post is responsible for all activities of OCG Nepal that relate to the development and procurement of business. You shall be primarily responsible for monitoring/tracking business opportunities, and preparation of EOI & Proposals. You will also be required to provide management assistance to projects including project coordination, operation, and implementation. You will work closely with the CEO and the report to CEO, Nepal for day-to-day business development and project management issues.
