Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Planning, implementing and overseeing new business development initiatives
  • Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Developing proposal, sales pitch, presentations and quotes for existing and prospective clients
  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings to communicate new product developments to prospective clients
  • Thinking strategically, seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Managing and leading the day to day operations of the department
  • Increasing the value of current customers while identifying potential customers
  • Keeping up with the current industry trends locally and internationally
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
