About this role

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Executive to help us expand our clientele. As a Business Development Executive, you will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. You must identify rising business opportunities and build long-term relationships with prospects in order to increase company revenue and maximize profits. The goal is to evaluate the current performance of the business and find ways to help the business reach its full potential; drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a keen eye for detail regarding the prospect requirements and have a compelling sales personality, and have a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

1.Lead generation

  • Research on current client base to identify potential lead generation opportunities
  • Identify relevant prospects by analyzing our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)
  • Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives like Data Marketplace, Data partners, etc
  • Measure and track regular lead generation activity against weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Assist in designing outbound campaigns and overseeing the implementation

2. Lead communication

  • Reach out to prospective clients through cold emails and cold calls and identify their data needs
  • Setup introductory sales call once we identify the client need for our services
  • Conduct Virtual meetings with the leads to give a Sales pitch.
  • Follow-up with engaged prospects for sales conversion
  • Review data requirements from the lead pool of data marketplaces
  • Coordinate with project team regarding the feasibility of these data requirements
  • Draft and Send proposals to relevant/feasible leads in the lead pool of data marketplaces
  • Develop sales collaterals for brand awareness, product appeal
  • Consolidate various sales collateral and participate in creating outreach templates.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
  • Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients

3. Lead pipeline management

  • Compile leads from different channels
  • Build and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards

4. Lead conversion

  • Assist in creating campaigns for lead conversion

5. Collaboration

  • Keep abreast of the latest developments, products, and marketing updates

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Management or a related field.
  • Prior experience in Customer acquisition is preferable.
  • Technology literacy: In addition to the skill to use the basic spreadsheet and word processing creation software, this role needs to have the ability to use, manage, understand, and assess technology.
  • Time management and organization: Should be able to use a variety of organization methods, including calendar management, to handle multiple projects at one time and complete tasks efficiently and quickly.
  • Communication and Interpersonal: Clear communication and the ability to explain concepts in simple terms are used to help the customer work through problems and accurately describe solutions. Must also be able to cold call prospects with confidence in order to gain new clients.
  • Research and Strategy: Should be able to understand the Ideal customer profile of the company and research for similar companies to reach out for collaboration. Strategize on prospecting and outreach campaigns. Also research about competition and their unique offerings to keep the company ahead of them.
  • Business Intelligence: Know all about your business services and products and conduct the necessary market analysis needed to identify the company´s current position. Moreover, knowledge in sales management, marketing, strategic management, and business planning to grow the overall business
  • Negotiation & Persuasion: This involves being able to convince others to take appropriate action and being able to discuss and reach a mutually satisfactory agreement.
