We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Lead of Business and Marketing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving our talent acquisition projects and supporting our business development efforts. You will be responsible for leading the Connect Job Nepal project in Nepal. You will be formulating and executing business development strategies, developing marketing and promotional plans, fostering strategic communication with partners and other organisations, managing project timelines, ensuring optimal utilisation of technology resources, and developing collaborative programs with universities and colleges.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage the Connect Job Nepal project, ensuring its successful implementation and ongoing development.
- Implement and execute business development plans and initiatives to achieve set targets of different projects.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to form operations and promotion strategy
- Proactively manage projects by brainstorming potential risks and opportunities, then developing mitigation strategies and action plans to minimise disruptions and maximise success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organisations and other relevant stakeholders
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances that can enhance the company’s technical capabilities and market reach
- Develop and implement promotional plans and programs to forge strategic partnerships with universities and colleges for talent acquisition and training purposes
- Engage with key clients and customers, both national and international, to understand their requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
- Establish and manage effective communication channels to ensure seamless collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Evaluate and optimise the use of technology resources to meet the evolving needs of the organisation
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Connect Job team, ensuring a productive and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in any related field
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of business development principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Experience in managing office operations
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
- Experience in conducting and facilitating seminars

- Communication skills: The Lead Business and Marketing must have strong communication skills to be able to convey messages to clients and team members. He/ she must be able to effectively share their vision, goals, ideas and issues. He/she also needs communication skills to produce presentations and reports.

Team management skills include the ability to effectively delegate responsibilities, handle conflicts, and coach team members to help them improve their skills.

- Interpersonal skills: Interpersonal skills include self-confidence, relationship management and collaboration skills. The Lead Business and Marketing must be able to collaborate well as part of a team allowing the team to work together more productively and complete the project more efficiently.
