Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Broker Assistant / Loan Packager & Processing Officer to join one of Australia’s top mortgage brokerages and work alongside our brokers.

The Role:

Work in a close knit, young, positive and fun team, you will be utilising your administration, organisational and relationship management skills daily, including your industry knowledge and ensuring all transactions are seamless. 

On a day to day basis, your specific duties will include, but are not be limited to:

  • General broker assisting duties;
  • Assisting brokers with packaging applications;
  • Communicating with clients, lenders and legal professionals;
  • Managing the loan process;
  • Drafting and managing internal and external communications;
  • Inbox and calendar management; and
  • Database/CRM management.

The Candidate:

  • AFG FLEX & ApplyOnline experience is highly desirable but not crucial;
  • Will have a minimum of one-year loan packaging & processing experience;
  • Ability to review and interpret income documentation to assess client serviceability;
  • Ability to manage a high volume workload and work well in stressful situations;
  • Ability to prioritise;
  • Think proactively;
  • Provide a high standard of customer service; 
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal); and
  • Ability to work autonomously & as part of a team.
