Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced Broker Assistant / Loan Packager & Processing Officer to join one of Australia’s top mortgage brokerages and work alongside our brokers.

The Role:

Work in a close knit, young, positive and fun team, you will be utilising your administration, organisational and relationship management skills daily, including your industry knowledge and ensuring all transactions are seamless.

On a day to day basis, your specific duties will include, but are not be limited to:

General broker assisting duties;
Assisting brokers with packaging applications;
Communicating with clients, lenders and legal professionals;
Managing the loan process;
Drafting and managing internal and external communications;
Inbox and calendar management; and
Database/CRM management.

The Candidate:

AFG FLEX & ApplyOnline experience is highly desirable but not crucial;
Will have a minimum of one-year loan packaging & processing experience;
Ability to review and interpret income documentation to assess client serviceability;
Ability to manage a high volume workload and work well in stressful situations;
Ability to prioritise;
Think proactively;
Provide a high standard of customer service;
Problem solving skills;
Strong communication skills (written & verbal); and
Ability to work autonomously & as part of a team.
