Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team as an Account Officer. This mid-level position will play a vital role in our organization by managing the financial activities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all accounting data.

Key Responsibilities:

Record and maintain accurate accounting of all loans (term loans, working capital loans, OD/CC, intercompany loans).
Calculate and account for interest, processing fees, and other bank charges.
Prepare and post journal entries related to loan disbursements, repayments, and accruals.
Reconcile loan balances with bank statements and lender confirmations.
Ensure compliance with loan agreements, covenants, and repayment schedules.
Maintain complete documentation for all loans, including sanction letters, agreements, and security documents.
Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for statements, confirmations, and queries.
Prepare loan schedules, amortization tables, and interest forecasts.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing related to borrowings.
Assist in preparing MIS reports, cash flow statements, and fund utilization reports.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the concerned authority.

Required Experience:More than 4 years

Other Specification

Must have Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years of experience in loan accounting or Finance.
Prior experience in a manufacturing company is preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and loan accounting.
Familiar with Accounting software and Microsoft Office package.
Good communication skills and positive attitude and prepared to work in a team environment.
