Reports to- Service Manager  

Responsibilities:

• Install new equipment by establishing, adjusting, calibrating and testing performance
• Attend any call physically for equipment service, machine breakdowns as required
• Approves new equipment by conducting tests, ensuring adherence to codes
• Oversee the adherence to the equipment warranty, annual maintenance contract
• Coordination for the delivery, installation, start-up procedures and certification of equipment
• Deal with technical queries from hospitals and doctors and give advice on new and existing equipment
• Work closely with medical professionals, such as doctors and therapists as well as with end-users to make sure needs are being addressed
• Timely maintenance of equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, conducting tests and troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions
• Recommending and complying with procedures, training and guiding medical and healthcare personnel and complying with codes
• Direct biomedical equipment operation by providing equipment operation demonstrations, instructing healthcare staff in use and care of equipment and answering questions
• Maintain safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety tests
• Liaise with technicians and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility of a product in terms of design and economic viability
• Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends
• Maintain timely and effective communications with the other related department such as Sales and Marketing, Store and Accounts
