Job Description

The Banquet Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet operations to ensure the successful execution of events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings. This role involves team leadership, coordination with clients and vendors, ensuring high service standards, and optimizing the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, organize, and execute all banquet events, ensuring client satisfaction and smooth operations
  • Coordinate with kitchen, service, and support staff for seamless service delivery
  • Supervise banquet staff during event setup, service, and breakdown
  • Communicate with clients to understand requirements, event details, and special preferences
  • Manage inventory of banquet supplies and ensure timely requisitions
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with hygiene and safety standards
  • Monitor costs and manage budgets related to banquet operations
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve any complaints or issues promptly
  • Ensure all AV equipment and venue setup meet event specifications
  • Train and supervise banquet staff, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance evaluations
  • Liaise with vendors for event-specific needs such as decorations, entertainment, or rental items
