Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. As a Senior Engineer at Qualz.ai, you will play a pivotal role in developing and perfecting our AI-powered products and solutions. If you are passionate about AI, data science, and full-stack development, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain innovative AI-driven applications and systems.
Develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend solutions using Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB.
Experiment and implement latest GenAI functionality including OpenAI, LLama, Minstral, Prompt Engineering and Agent based tooling.
Implement and manage Azure functions and services to support application functionality and scalability.
Ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements developed by frontend developers with server-side logic.
Monitor and enhance the performance, security, and scalability of existing backend systems.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
Mentor and guide junior developers as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in backend development with a focus on Python.
Proficiency in Python, Django, FastAPI, MongoDB, and Azure services.
Experience with NoSQL databases, database design, and optimization.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying on top of industry trends.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
A portfolio of past projects or contributions to open-source projects is a plus.
