Job Description

Required Qualifications/Experience and Skills

  • MD in General Practice or Internal Medicine
  • Alternatively, MBBS Degree with minimum 6 years of work experience
  • Current unrestricted registration with Nepal Medical Council (NMC)
  • Must have good commands of both spoken and written English and Nepali and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, paying careful attention to detail and managing multiple tasks.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Working knowledge and application of relevant Country legislation governing Medical Service Delivery

Job Responsibilities

The AWC doctor will be providing comprehensive primary care services to GWTs largely elderly beneficiaries. The position is overall responsible for implementing Clinical Care and Clinical Governance in his/her Medical Centre in accordance with all GWT (N) Standards of Medical Service delivery, Quality Standards, Disease Management Guidelines, professional standards, Policies and Procedures. S/he is responsible for the Clinical Care of all patients under the care of the HCPs working in the Medical Centre.
