Reporting Line: Maintenance and Utilities Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- People Management: Responsible for leading the team as a role model and ensuring compliance with HSE, food safety, hygiene, and union agreements. Manage workforce resources according to demand plans, including third-party personnel. Develop and maintain skills matrices, training plans, and records. Recognize good performance, handle disciplinary actions, conduct performance reviews, and foster effective teamwork. Promote continuous development of automation and electrical technical capabilities within the team.
- Process Management: Manage the area’s performance management system, including meetings, reporting, and processes, to ensure alignment with group standards. Develop and enforce SOPs to maintain compliance with automation and electrical standards. Ensure accurate control and timely updates of technical documentation such as drawings, schematics, and wiring.
- Performance Management: Manage the area’s operational budget and financial targets in collaboration with management. Achieve KPIs and lead operational improvement projects focused on cost savings. Support broader organizational excellence initiatives to continuously enhance area performance.
- Functional Specific Management: Own the technical roadmaps and implementation plans for automation systems in coordination with Group Automation Architects. Lead maintenance improvement projects, conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting, and develop diagnostic processes for automation and electrical installations. Engage stakeholders in maintenance and investment planning, coordinate overhaul plans, and collaborate with IT teams for system integration. Review improvement ideas and supervise the implementation of new automation or electrical systems and upgrades. Incorporate innovations into maintenance documentation and work instructions.
