Nidisi Nepal is a non-profit organization established in 2019 committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of underprivileged communities in Nepal.
We are a Nepali European non-profit organization dedicated to building innovative and scalable social business solutions that empower women and promote the circular economy solutions.
Rooted in development cooperation, our mission is to foster equality, financial independence, and sustainable development within local communities. By placing women at the heart of circular economy initiatives, we empower them to lead, gain control over their lives, and make self-determined decisions.
We act locally and share knowledge globally through our two pillars—the NIDISI Project Incubator (Atelier) and the NIDISI Knowledge Hub (Academy)—creating a feedback loop to advance our mission.
Within the NIDISI Project Incubator in Nepal we work together with local communities in Nepal to implement social business models in the areas of plastic recycling, clean water access, menstrual hygiene, and education, addressing societal and environmental challenges.
In the NIDISI Knowledge hub in Germany we collect and share insights from these projects globally to enhance development practices. These pillars work together, refining and expanding our impact.
We believe women empowerment and the circular economy approach are key to driving change. Our vision is a world where social businesses empower people, reduce inequalities, and protect the planet. We aim to create a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
By sharing best practices with like-minded organizations, we strive to replicate success across the global south and beyond, expanding our impact.
At NIDISI, we believe in the power of collaboration and innovation to drive empowerment and reduce inequalities. Together, we can create a better future for all.
