Job Description

The Associate Project Officer will support AAIN Regional Office in the management of partnership project and ensure successful implementation of WASH Project.

Key responsibilities:

Provide support to partner NGOs in planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the project
Engage in documenting programme impact, achievements and case stories related to the project
Prepare capacity building plans, produce reading and learning materials, organise and conduct trainings for partner NGO
Support in building and maintaining relationship with various stakeholders and government line agencies
Ensure and be responsible for statutory plan, budget and timely reports and donor compliances

Key competencies required:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
At least 2 years professional experience in project related to WASH in I/NGOs. Experience in working with the communities and knowledge of water and sanitation in recovery and rehabilitation phase is essential
Excellent skills in written and spoken English and Nepali including the ability and experience to compose, edit, analyse and report using complex information
Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication, negotiation and facilitation skills
Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including use of Microsoft Office Suite and Auto-cad

This is a mid level position based in Biratnagar with frequent travel inside the country.
