Job Description

GCI is seeking to recruit a competent, committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate for the position of Associate Program Coordinator- BTTM Program.

The main duty station will be at Mid Baneshwore, Kathmandu.

Position summary:

The Associate Programme Coordinator (APC) will be responsible to oversee, manage, monitor, evaluate and ensure the timely progress, deliverables and reporting of the department’s academic/ research/ publication/promotional-related functions. The candidate should have proficiency in planning and executing the overall branding strategies, placement strategies, in-reach/ outreach strategies, visits/tours and exposure strategies, workshops/ seminars/ conferences for the BTTM Program. 

The APC will be accountable and report to the Program Coordinator- BTTM and the Principal of the college. 

Required Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Master’s Degree in Tourism Management or relevant subject with first division from a reputed institution.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in the similar position.

Skills and Abilities:

  •  More specifically, GCI seeks the following specific competencies for this position:
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English;
  • Excellent advocacy and presentation skills; 
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, negotiation and facilitation skills; 
  • Ability to maintain very good coordinated professional relationship with all the stakeholders including students, faculties, guardians, and job market.
  • Should be willing to undertake additional responsibilities, perform multiple tasks and work under pressure. 

Remuneration:

  •  Attractive salary will be offered to the deserving candidates.

Duration: 

  • Initially 1-year with the possibility of extension. The first 6-months will be probationary period.
