Position: Assistant Specialist- Data & Core VAS
Department: Commercial

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans to determine the most profitable course for each existing and new product
  • Determine customers’ needs, desires and design new products that cater to customers and business needs.
  • Prepare business cases, plan and ensure an effective implementation of the campaign.
  • Take a proactive approach to educating and promote products to end customers via available channels.
  • Select optimum pricing strategy
  • Manage relationships and work progress with other departments effectively for successful end to end execution of campaign
  • Identify and maintain products life cycle whilst keeping track of different existing products for their effective Product lifecycle Management.
  • Maintain and prepare reports, KPI at daily/weekly and monthly basis and conduct proper analysis of Campaigns
  • Assess and monitor market competition along with related ongoing competitive landscape.
  • Keep track of customer feedback, complaints, suggestions and work for improvement to provide exceptional customer experience.
  • Demonstrate proactive approach in frauds/ revenue leakages by identifying and resolving new/existing issues.
  • Demonstrate proactive approach and follow up in identifying and resolving different network related issues with related stakeholders.
  • Product Execution & Agile Delivery:
  • Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with development teams.
  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • Compliance & Revenue Growth:
  • Ensure VAS products comply with industry regulations, data privacy laws, and security standards.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to drive VAS adoption and revenue growth.
  • Track and optimize ARPU (Average Revenue Per User), user engagement, and retention rates.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Work closely with network operators, technology partners, and service providers to expand VAS offerings.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with content providers, aggregators, and third-party vendors.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to enhance VAS products.
  • Product Management & Development
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of Existing Ncell VAS products and services 
  • Work closely with technical teams, marketing, and third-party vendors to develop innovative VAS solutions.
  • Monitor service performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal service delivery.

Education Qualification and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree OR Professional Degree in Management with Specialization in Sales, Marketing.
  • Preference will be given to those who has experience on Products, Sales, Product and Channel GTM

Kathmandu but as per business needs can be placed anywhere in Nepal.
