Position: Assistant Specialist- Channel & Segments

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Increase Product Sales in Channels

  • Coordinate with Product Managers in developing  products awareness and branding plan for all existing products and campaigns to increase product Sales in Channels. 

Support in Business Planning, Budget Requirement

  • Provide annual forecast for Key business KPI’s and help in identifying the total budget requirement for Gross Ad, Recharge

Product Life Cycle Management

  • Has responsibilities to manage from concept, to design, sample production, testing, forecast, cost, mass production, promotion, support, and finally product end of life for Gross Add and Recharge

Segments

  • Create Products and GTM for different market segments which includes Youth, Migrant, Tourist, HVC and other relevant market segment

Business Planning and Roadmap

  • Develop Annual Roadmap and direct to employee for achieving the annual operating plan for Gross Add and Recharge

Product Ideation and Pricing

  • Conceptualize product mix and finalize the correct pricing with reference to the customer needs and market condition for Gross Ad and Recharge

Product Development

Coordinate with technology team to develop Products, do the testing with Complain and revenue assurance team and make the product ready to be launched for Gross Add and Recharge

Product GTM

  • Coordinate with Brand team to communicate the products in the market and focus on 2 P’s of Marketing, “Placement” & “Promotions”

Market Intelligence

  • Keep track of the market condition on what is being offered to customers in terms of value and pricing and what is their actual needs
Competitive Landscape

  • Understand what competition is offering in the market and track the Key KPI as a result of competitive offering

Customer

  • Customer first approach, customer empowerment, ease of use & digitization. Create Products & Services based on customer needs with a communication approach easily understood
  • Be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria. Understand expectation and preferences of Business Units including that of employee to plan and recommend suitable HR interventions

Financial

  • To support in formulation of Annual Business Plan
  • Segregate top line revenue targets to specific product category
  • To formulate long range plan & annual business plan (Capex / Opex).
  • Ensure smart spending by allocating areas where we need to expand our network or systems which we need to acquire for better business prospect

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelors OR Master’s Degree with Specialization in Sales, Marketing
  • Preference will be given to those having experience on Products, Sales, Product and Channel GTM

Profile:

  • Understands and collates details of situations or problems at work
  • Implements agreed initiatives effectively
  •  Understands linkage of own work beyond his / her area
  •  Seeks to learn more about other parts of the unit
  •  Understands impact of own performance on customers
  •  Understand processes to gather needed information or support
  •  Adapts to agreed rules to get a job done
  •  Works on constructive feedback to improve one's work performance

Duty Station: Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs or future requirements.
