Purpose:

  • Alternate Channel Management: Identify, optimize, and manage sales channels to expand market reach and revenue.
  • Project Coordination: Lead and oversee projects related to new channel development, market expansion, and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track and evaluate the effectiveness of alternate channels, making data-driven improvements to drive growth and meet key performance targets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Analyze: 

  • Analyze micro market trends of subscriber base, Market Share and develop/execute acquisition / promotional strategies and campaign to reach target audience effectively.
  • Timely report and monitor Cluster wise Gross Acquisition KPI from different touch points i.e. POS, BLT partners, BP, and other Alternative Channels
  • Plan and drive FOS incentive KPIs, performance tracking and monitoring of FOS by ensuring timely FOS audits related to inventory, commission, incentive, product distribution and Retail awareness.
  • Custodian of FOS budget and incentive KPI planning.

2. Reporting:

  • Acquisition Target achievement planning and execution.
  • Micro market and Cluster monitoring for acquisition achievement.
  • Monitor quality of acquisition from POS, BTLs and other touchpoints.
  • Tracking of stock maintained by Channel Partners.
  • Maintaining Cluster wise performance scorecard (by people and territory) including all lead and lag indicators on timely basis.

3. Co-ordination:

  • Coordinate with Product and cross functional team for timely training and assessing product and service knowledge of Channel Sales team.
  • Driving subscriber market shared by increasing retail width and pushing all the products.
  • Ensure effective realization of acquisition increment / incentive plans.
  • Extending support to Regional Team in increasing Sim and Data Selling Outlets to the maximum possible extent in the assigned territory.
  • Facilitate timely completion of all activities within cluster in coordination with Province Business Managers ensuring plan/project success and realization of weekly milestones (as defined) and monthly target completion in line with any core activity or project as undertaken.

4. Analysis and monitoring of competitors activity

Detailed reports and data on competitor activity by Region and Cluster in areas of (but not limiting to):

  • New Products and Offerings
  • New Plans
  • Change in market share (by subscribers: data and volume)
  • Commission and incentives
  • Identify and investigate growth opportunities.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration [preferably specializing in Marketing]
  • Preference will be given to those who have work experience in Alternate Channel and Sales.

Profile:

  • Knowledge and experienced in Sales and Distribution techniques preferably in FMCG and Telecom sector
  • Capable of communicating at all levels
  • Collaborative working across different Functional Units.
  • Encourages teamwork and bonding within and outside team without compromising delivery of exceptional results
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills in identifying trends and sales patterns
  • Good knowledge of management areas like B2B, B2C, CR.
  • Advanced excel and PPT skills
  • Good communication and organizational abilities
  • Understanding of general business concepts in telecom industry: investments, ROI, management

Duty Station: 

Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs.
