Position: Assistant Specialist
Department: Corporate Communication and CSR 
Requirement: 1
Duty Station: Current requirement is for Kathmandu but can be changed later as per business requirement

Main responsibility areas:

  • Align with cross functional teams for overall internal communications content development and implementation within the organization, including Ncell Quarterly Newsletter, Ncell Magazine, All staffer emails, internal announcements, Update in internal portals, cross functional communications material among others as per the requirements of the function on need basis for any internal communications.
  • Manage, collect, and distribute organizational announcements, working with internal and external partners on content alignment.
  • Assist in implementation of internal communication strategies to effectively convey the organization's messages aligning with the overall company strategy.
  • Lead in managing, collecting and distributing organizational announcements.
  • Ensure communication strategy aligns with the organization's strategic vision and maintain consistency.
  • Cultivate strong internal relationships, communication, partnerships between all levels of employees. Foster employee engagement in company initiatives. Ensure internal stakeholders are well informed about the company events and updates via effective flow of internal communications in all possible internal channels of communication.
  • Set goals and priorities on release of internal communication materials aligning with the company events and activities.
  • Work cross-functionally across teams: Work in close partnership with human resources, marketing, product and leadership to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support for communication for cross functional events and initiatives.
  • Responsible for handling internal all internal tools like COUPA/SAP for day to day operations.
  • Responsible for daily monitoring of media (Print, onlines), keeping database of all the news coverage about Ncell, Telecommunications Sector and Competition and generate weekly impression report on the news trend.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of company sponsored events, stakeholder engagement events and CSR activities or any activities driven by respective function for its smooth execution. 
  • Should be willing to traveling for work when the company specifies.

Your qualification and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management studies with strong hold on English and Nepali content writing. 
  • Preference will be given to candidates having prior relevant working experience 
  • Ability to draft contents for internal and external announcements, generate contents for official publications.
  • Ability to write stories/articles and do research on different topics with guidance from the head of the department.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Package, ability to work with photoshop and designing will be an added advantage.
  • Maintaining high degree of Integrity and confidence while working is essential.
