About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic, responsible, authoritative and people-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at the Jawalakhel branch of The Bakery Cafe. This role is ideal for someone who can ensure smooth daily operations while supporting sales and events growth — including handling birthday bookings, small gatherings, and corporate events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong, confident leadership to ensure all staff adhere to their designated roles and responsibilities.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in daily operations including floor supervision, inventory, and customer service.
  • Motivate and manage front-of-house and back-of-house staff to improve performance and attitude.
  • Address performance issues promptly and constructively, maintaining team motivation and alignment with restaurant goals.
  • Introduce small innovations or service ideas to increase footfall and customer retention.
  • Track and report branch performance, staff attendance, and service quality.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Ensure hygiene, food quality, and service standards are met or exceeded.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to improve kitchen efficiency and menu execution.
  • Maintain discipline and accountability across the team, taking corrective actions when needed.
  • Assist the Manager in reaching out to local offices, colleges, and organizations for group bookings, corporate tie-ups, and catering
