CEDB Hydropower Development Company Limited (CHDC), a public limited company incorporated under the prevalent laws of Nepal on Mangsir 15, 2066 (November 30, 2009). CEDB Hydropower Development Company Limited (CHDC) was founded by the then Clean Energy Development Bank to provide equity investment for hydropower projects to meet energy needs of the nation. CHDC is currently mandated to invest in and develop Hydropower Projects. It has got three hydropower projects in operation and four projects at construction and development stages.

1. Tallo Khare Khola Hydropower Project (11 MW) (Dolakha)

2. Dordi-1 Hydro Electric Project (12 MW) (Lamjung)

3. Rukum Gad Hydropower Project (5 MW) (Rukum)

4. Kasuwa Hydropower Project (45 MW) (Sankhwasabha)

Job Description

  • Prepare the documents for development and construction of hydro projects (Survey license for generation, PPA, IEE study, contract documents, etc.)
  • Manage government official works (DOED, NEA, MOE, MOPE, etc.)
  • Coordinate and analyze the reports from different consultants.
  • Act as the project’s point of contract for all technical as well as non-technical communications
  • Establish and track project key performance indicators (schedule, cost, quality, scope) and provide inputs/corrective action to ensure progress is according to plan
  • Evaluate progress reports whilst ensuring that project risk are identified and managed appropriately

Note: Kathmandu based position visit to project site as and when required
