Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Manage operational processes and functions required for the safe, efficient and economical operation of the power plant
Manage and support daily operation activities such as planning, coordinating and controlling plant operations in accordance with written requirements, procedures, and schedules
Coordination of the development of plant procedures and shift instructions, including safety procedures, statutory regulations, outage schedules and routine test and inspection schedules
Manage the work of the shift personnel and supervise the strict compliance with Customers safety rules, Support the training of the power plant operations personnel
Manage the processing, approving, closing and status reporting of fault notifications, work orders and isolation and the monitoring of the ‘Permit to Work’ system
Coordination of planning for Minor and Major Inspections
Sound knowledge about hydro power sector, rule, and regulation, the updated act of Nepal.
Monitor and implementation of Health and Safety program
Overall management works related to the power plant

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

B.E (Electrical/Mechanical)
Minimum 5 years of experience in Operation & Maintenance of Hydro power plant
Should possess all the minimum skill sets required for handling the designated post
Good knowledge of operation/maintenance management
