Job Description

Department: Human Resource

Functional Reporting to: G.M - HR

Qualification: MBA preferred

Experience: Should have worked in manufacturing set up with 4–5 years of experience.

Location: Kathmandu

Job Purpose:

To ensure execution of HR system and process with full compliance to statutory norms and completion of programs laid down in the ER/IR/Business HR support and also support GM-HR in maintaining harmonious IR.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)/ Key Performance Activities (KPA): 

1. Employee Relation /Industrial Relation:

  • Create a healthy & proactive employee relation at the plant
  • Assist in long term agreement and execution of wages agreement time to time
  • Management of OSP compliance as per new labor act 2074
  • Employee grievance handling to ensure industrial harmony and positive discipline at the plant
  • Execute and facilitate disciplinary actions whenever required
  • Local Liasioning

2. Statutory Compliance:

  • Implementation of labor laws and adherence of statutory compliance at the plant
  • Facilitate the compliance audit at plant pertaining to labor laws
  • Ensuring statutory compliance is fulfilled as per applicable labor laws
  • All factory license ( Food, Labor Office
  • Plant Round

3. Business HR Support:

  • Implementation of approved manpower planning including talent acquisition at the plant
  • Develop & implement a resourcing plan of employees (except sales) for the plant through appropriate recruitment strategies
  • Develop & implement employee engagement activities in the plant
  • Support in the assessment and capability building of the employees at the plant
  • Support in the implementation of HR initiatives like talent management, performance management, reward & recognition, employee policies in the plant

6. Administration & Securities

  • Effective upkeep & support to admin & security in the plant 

7. HR Systems: 

  • Updated HR systems as per applicable labor law

Key Performance Indicator (KPI): (It should be measurable)

  • Long term agreement safely landed without any grievances
  • Recruitment done on timely manner as per approved manpower plan
  • Employee Engagement calendar prepared
  • Employee Training & development plan prepared 
  • Nil audit points related to HR systems
