Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Accounts and Finance to manage factory-level accounting operations, costing, and financial reporting. The role involves ensuring accurate cost control, compliance, and coordination with production and procurement teams to support efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day factory accounting and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Bank and Vendor Reconciliation
Prepare and review cost sheets, variance analysis, and production cost reports.
Monitor raw material consumption, WIP, and finished goods accounting.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of monthly MIS reports.
Ensure compliance with statutory and internal financial policies.
Coordinate with internal/external auditors during audits.
Able to meet deadlines.
Work closely with production, stores, and procurement for financial control.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Qualifications & Experience:

ACCA or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing accounts or cost accounting.
Proficiency in advanced Excel, ERP/accounting software (Tally, Odoo, SAP, etc.).
Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Key Skills:

Proficient knowledge of cost and management accounting.
Advanced Excel and MIS reporting.
Handle and demonstrate under pressure.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication and coordination skills
