Caritas Nepal, a leading national NGO, invites applications from qualified Nepali citizens for Caritas Nepal Head Office, Dhobighat, Lalitpur. The contract will initially for 1 year with possibility of further extension depending upon the performance.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Master’s degree in any of the following: 
• Humanitarian Aid, Development Studies, International Development, Environmental Studies, Sociology, Development Economics, Rural Development, Project/Program Management, Disaster Risk Reduction with at least 10 years of experience. 
• With any of the above education, additional training on Project Cycle Management will be preferred (i. e. including Project Development, Project Monitoring and Evaluation, and Project Reporting, Project Operations Management etc.)  
• Proven ability to lead teams to access international funding / grants for humanitarian and/or socio-economic development projects / programs.  This will include any of the following such as USAID, EU, and Australian Aid grants etc.  
• Proven ability to develop integral human development / multi sector projects or programs considering gender, social inclusion, and disability concerns. 
• Good language skills in English and Nepali (editing skills, writing and speaking skills)   
• Basic understanding of general management policies and standards in relation to NHOs.  
• Good interpersonal skills; networking, coordination and advocacy skills
• Good understanding of international / national government policies and priorities with regards to national development, human development, emergency response and recovery.
