Position: Assistant Engineer – Operation Support System

Main Duties & Responsibilities

eTOM & ITIL Architecture Understanding and experience
Organize and steer the maintenance of OSS systems in the domain-specific to Fault Management, Trouble Ticket Management, its general administrations and vendor liaison for its availability, security, and vulnerability fixes and not limited to these.
Assist Network Operations Centers in alarm management, alarm reduction, and drive towards zero-touch NOC/SOC automation initiatives
Basic Lifecycle and design of Trouble Ticketing and business processes in house in vendor supplied tools after a few days of knowledge transfer.
Automation and Integrations of Trouble Ticket Solution with various standard API gateways as per business needs
Proactively perform regular reviews/ analysis of automated processes to identify process re-engineering opportunities
Maintain a single documentation repository (Upgrades, Expansion, SOW, FRS, PAT, FAC) that can be leveraged across the organization

Qualification and Experience

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering / IT
Experience in the similar field will be an added advantage.

Profile

Good experience in communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Experience in basic level of programming and database management
Understands and collates details of situations or problems at work
Implements agreed initiatives effectively
Understands linkage of own work beyond his / her area
Seeks to learn more about other parts of the unit

Duty Station:
Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs or future requirements
