Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and maintain financial records, ensure accurate accounting, and support financial reporting for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks and assist in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
Prepare journal entries, invoices, and bank reconciliations
Handle accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Ensure timely filing of VAT, TDS, and other statutory obligations
Support audits and coordinate with external auditors
Maintain inventory and fixed asset records
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, Excel, etc.)

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Experience:

1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role.
Experience with basic bookkeeping and financial data entry.
Familiarity with invoicing, bank reconciliations, and payroll processes is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally and Prosee).
Strong Excel skills
Understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, ledgers).

Soft Skills:

High attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information.

Other Requirements:

Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
