Job Overview:
The Area Sales Representative plays a crucial role in managing and enhancing sales activities within a designated area. This position involves proactive dealer relationship management, strategic market analysis, and effective sales training to drive sales growth and improve customer service. The role also requires coordination with digital marketing efforts to maximize market penetration and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing:
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and target potential customers through market analysis and lead generation activities.
- Convert leads into sales opportunities by demonstrating product features and benefits.
On-Field Sales:
- Conduct regular visits to potential and existing clients to promote products and services.
- Address customer queries and concerns while building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Monitor sales activities and ensure alignment with predefined sales targets and strategies.
Off-Field Sales:
- Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely issue resolution and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
- Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to generate leads and support online sales initiatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute effective online marketing strategies.
Sales Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct monthly sales analysis and report findings to the Regional Manager.
- Analyze demand and supply trends by product model and color to optimize inventory management.
- Develop and implement action plans based on sales and business development insights.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various channels (B2B, B2C, partnerships).
- Maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and partners to drive future growth.
Dealer & Showroom Management:
- Conduct regular visits to dealers to ensure compliance with company policies and objectives.
- Coordinate and execute activities at showrooms/dealerships to enhance product visibility and customer engagement.
CRM & Data Management:
- Manage CRM applications to ensure accurate and updated customer information.
- Maintain market share data using tools like Google Sheets for effective decision-making.
Customer Service & Issue Resolution:
- Enhance customer service standards at dealerships/showrooms and resolve escalated customer issues promptly.
Market Research & Strategy Development:
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and enhance competitive positioning.
Monthly Meetings & Coordination:
- Organize and lead monthly meetings with dealers/showrooms to review performance metrics, market share, and address any operational issues.
- Coordinate territory activities to align with overall sales objectives and regional strategies.
Qualifications:
- At least high school education
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Experience in sales, marketing, or business development roles, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, market analysis, and customer relationship management.
- Basic Excel or Google sheet skills
- Should have a driving license.
