Reports To: Regional Manager (RM)
Job Overview: The Area Sales Representative is responsible for managing and enhancing sales activities within a designated area, including regular dealer visits, sales reporting and analysis, and CRM management. This role requires a proactive approach to dealer relationship management, sales training, digital marketing coordination, and strategic market analysis to drive sales growth and improve customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Sales Management:
- Enter and report daily sales data accurately.
- Collect and update monthly projected sales targets in the system.
- Follow up on salesman incentives and report breakdowns to the RM.
Sales Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct monthly sales analysis and report findings.
- Analyze demand and supply, model-wise and color-wise.
- Develop and implement sales and business development action plans.
Dealer & Showroom Management:
- Conduct regular dealer visits for stock verification, showroom ambiance maintenance, and addressing issues.
- Coordinate and execute activities at the showroom/dealer level.
- Maintain and boost the digital presence (FB, TikTok, Instagram) and collaborate with the Media Department for branding and visibility.
Sales Training & Development:
- Provide training to salesmen on reporting, customer behavior, sales playbooks, FABE, 5E's, 4-step demo, and PFS.
- Analyze and select Salesman of the Month and distribute awards to motivate the sales team.
CRM & Data Management:
- Manage CRM and Power App, ensuring data accuracy and resolving app issues.
- Maintain market share data and reviews in Google Sheets.
Customer Service & Issue Resolution:
- Enhance customer service in dealerships/showrooms and resolve customer issues.
- Coordinate claims and resolve bluebook issues for customers and dealers.
Market Research & Strategy Development:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share.
- Collect and maintain color and model-wise forecasting data.
Dealer Relationship Management:
- Orient dealers/showrooms regarding scheme terms and conditions before schemes become effective.
- Coordinate sales entry for schemes on the scheme app.
Monthly Meetings & Coordination:
- Organize and lead monthly meetings with dealers/showrooms to discuss performance, market share, and other relevant issues.
- Coordinate and manage territory activities to align with overall sales goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales management, dealer relations, and CRM management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in sales analysis and market research.
- Excellent training and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, Power Apps, and digital marketing platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience in automotive or related industries.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media management.
- Familiarity with sales and business development strategies.
