Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee and grow our sales operations in the assigned region. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in FMCG sales, team management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee sales operations in the assigned area (dealers and wholesalers).
Achieve sales targets by developing and maintaining strong business relationships with distributors, dealers, and retailers.
Regularly visit markets to monitor product movement, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Plan and implement sales strategies to increase market share and product visibility in the sanitary pad, diaper, cosmetic, and FMCG sector.
Ensure proper stock availability, timely delivery, and efficient order handling through distribution channels.
Provide daily sales and performance reports to senior management.
Conduct training and motivation sessions for the sales team and channel partners to drive performance.
Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Support marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and brand-building initiatives within the assigned area.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience: More than 5 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in sanitary pad, diaper, cosmetic, and FMCG sectors.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of sales strategies, dealer/distributor management, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and reporting tools.
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team effectively.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

Other Requirements:

Should be result-oriented, target-driven, and self-motivated.
Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
Strong networking ability with dealers and wholesalers.
