Required Key Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  
• 4-5 years of relevant work experience
• Proven working experience as an architect
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
• Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software 
• Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions
• Communication and project management skills
• Good Knowledge of Architecture Software’s (Sketch up, 3D Rendering, Walkthrough etc)

Job Description 

• Involve from the earliest stages of a building project,  starting with developing ideas, establishing budgets, assessing the needs of the building, designing new buildings, individual houses, extensions or alterations to existing buildings, or advising on the restoration and conservation of old properties.
  
• Closely work with the client’s requirement to make sure that projected designs match their needs and are functional, safe and economical
• Preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals for the project
• Advising the supervisor on the practicality of their project
• Specifically using computer-aided design (such as 2D, 3D Sketches, Rendering and Walkthrough)
• Producing detailed workings, drawings and specifications
• Specifying the nature and quality of materials required;
• Regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budge
• Resolving problems and issues that arise during construction;
• Undertaking other activities as assigned by the Chairman/Executive Director/Managing Director
