About the job

Job description

We are looking for a Junior Android Developer who is eager to learn and grow as a Mobile Developer. You will be working under the guidance of our senior developers to develop, test, and maintain Android Apps that meet the needs and expectations of our users and clients. You will also have the opportunity to learn new technologies and skills in the Android ecosystem.

Job Desciption:

Design and build applications for the Android platform using Kotlin, Java, and Android Studio.
Work with RESTful APIs, Firebase, Google Maps, and other third-party libraries and services to integrate data and functionality.
Follow best practices and design patterns to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, fix bugs, and improve app performance and stability.
Write unit tests, instrumentation tests, and UI tests to ensure app functionality and reliability.
Review code and provide feedback to senior developers and peers.
Research and explore new technologies and trends in the Android ecosystem and propose solutions to improve app features and user experience.

Job Specification:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 1 year of professional or academic experience in Android development, with a portfolio of published or unpublished apps on the Google Play Store or GitHub.
Basic knowledge of Kotlin and Java programming languages, and Android Studio IDE.
Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Jetpack, Material Design, and other Android components and libraries.
Experience with RESTful APIs, Firebase, Google Maps, and other third-party libraries and services.
Experience with Git, GitHub, and other version control and collaboration tools.
Experience with unit testing, instrumentation testing, and UI testing frameworks and tools, such as JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito.
Good problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for user interface design and user experience.
