About the organization

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH invites applications from suitable and qualified professional for the Green Resilient Agricultural-Centred Private Sector Development (GRAPE 2) and International Climate Initiative (IKI) Small grants programme.
GRAPE 2 is jointly financed by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH under the strategic guidance of the Ministry of Land Management,Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation (MoLCPA).The overall objective of the Project is to strengthen gender-equitable and climate-resilient economic development in Nepal.
Applicants will also support the team of the global climate and biodiversity action funding programme, IKI Small Grants. IKI Small Grants funds local actors who drive change and are essential for effective climate and biodiversity action worldwide. The funding programme is part of the IKI, which is jointly commissioned by three German Federal ministries. IKI Small Grants fosters bottom-up solutions and strengthens the capacities of local actors. The IKI Small Grants team is based in Berlin, and the applicant will work closelwith GIZ colleagues in Germany.
