Job Description

Reports To: Admissions Lead -University Partnerships

Critical Relationship: All Team Members, Team Lead, Internal and External Stakeholders

Overall Job Purpose

Responsible for the initial checking of student documents and initial screening calls for students applying to Malvern University Partnership courses. This position will work with the guidance and support of the Admissions Lead -University Partnerships, Director of Student Recruitment, Director of Sales Operations. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

1. Application management: 

  • Works to exceed new student enrolment targets while maintaining service standards by acting as a bridge of communication, discussion and handling internal concerns/issues. 
  • Create reports related to the day-to-day operations and overall productivity 
  • Review personal performance to meet SLAs and improve accuracy and performance.
  • Assess initial application documents for suitability for course 
  • Conduct initial screening calls and messaging to check student suitability 
  • Work with colleagues to meet university requirements 

2. Student processing: 

  • Meet targets related to student processing 
  • Make phone calls to potential student to assess student credibility and eligibility 
  • Check student documents to assess student credibility and eligibility 
  • Advise students on preparing for a UK student visa 
  • Help support students to understand the nature of a PCI and the importance to prepare 
  • Arrange students pre-PCI checking 
  • Maintain and sort out student databases to make sure all information is correct. 
  • Provide reports on student onboarding process 
  • Assist with the checking and verification of student statuses in line with Immigration legislation/regulations. 

3. Supporting with other projects:

  • During times of lower student enrolment periods you will be assigned other duties 
  • Perform data entry, including updating records and databases 
  • Keep management informed by reviewing and analysing special reports, summarising information, and identifying trends. 
  • Organising meetings, scheduling appointments and arranging follow ups 
  • Any other duties as assigned

About You

Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field

Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience 

Technical Skills : 

  • Knowledge of CRMs and supportive databases 
  • Proficient in University admissions and registration systems. 
  • Experience working with multiple demands, schedules and work styles. 
  • Sensitivity and ability to handle confidential information. Able to follow GDPR regulations. 
  • Computer and database literacy and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint for digital presentations). 
  • Knowledge of Student study visas.

  • Good communication skills with ability to converse effectively across cultures

Language Skills :

  • Fluent in English, High verbal and written both
