  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Studies
  • At least 2 years of experience in Administration and Financial Management of INGO
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Nepali
  • Excellent skill in financial documentation
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Excel and Accounting Software. Experience in working with FAMAS will be added advantage
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and in team
  • Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project
  • Able to accomplish quality work with strict deadlines

Job Description

  • Maintain financial and accounting system of the projects efficiently
  • Ensure the accuracy of the data entered into software and document properly on timely basis
  • Release advance, review and verify expenses of field activities
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly budget forecast and request to central office for disbursement
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial report of the projects
  • Prepare monthly bank/cash reconciliations Statement 
  • Review and compile books of the projects for preparation of financial statements
  • Identify issues in accounting and discuss with admin/finance coordinator for possible resolution
  • Ensure internal control over field office as per the admin/finance guidelines of KOSHISH
  • Update project specific variance status and issues to line manager and project officer/manager
  • Facilitate to external and internal financial audit of the organization
  • Maintain and update leave records of field staffs and update to central office on regular basis
  • Maintain and update fixed asset register and inventory of stock of field offices on regular basis
  • Maintain good cooperation and collaboration in finance department
  • Other duties as per assigned by the organization

Job Description might be upgraded based on organizational and project requirements. The initial contract for the position is one year with possibility of extension.
